Default shopping at the local dump

DH did something yesterday I never would imagine he'd do, actually brought something home from the dump, 3 wooden planters,(in really great condition) and a kids plastic sand box that I wanted to plant my lettuce in. What a man! LOL! I was so pleased, this is a man who normally would never think to even look at someone stuff, so very big step. I'm so proud!!

My uncle was always bringing home stuff from the dump ! My aunt would get so mad at him, but he loved finding good stuff...so what can you say! My daughter picks up stuff from along the road...she has gotten some very good stuff that way...

My friend is a garbage man and he said you can't believe what people throw away. He bring the good stuff home and what they don't use they pass on to someone that will or they have a yard sale.
