~I have a few of the t-shirt bags too and they are very nice! I actually use one of them as a cover for my sewing machine now. Love yours, WTG!~

Your bags look nice. I've made a couple recently and have fabric scraps cut out to make another one. Since I have started taking my own bags to the grocery store I've found that I need to make more

Those are very cute...Way to go. They are much cuter than the ones I have been buying at the stores.

How cute! I just saw on the news here about a local resource center that runs a thrift store and food pantry make their own cloth grocery bags. They had an abundance of T shirts and used many donated T shirts to make the cloth bags for clients of the food pantry. They sewed up the sleeves and used them to make handles.

Is this an easy sewing prioject?

I put the instructions in my favorites to try.
DD who is 7 would like to learn how to sew. I thought this might be something we could try together. I am also a beginner sewer...not much better than DD. I thought we could make them as Christmas gifts and then fill them with the samples, free or close to free items I've been gathering all year.
