Question What are you working on?

I'm not doing much of anything these days. I still need to finish Kathryn & Lauren's sock monkeys and Lauren's quilt, so I'm hesitant to start anything new.

    What are you working on?

I hear people say that they need to get motivated to sew all the time. I think it's strange because it's a hobby and something that's supposed to be fun. So why do we need motivation like it's some sort of chore, kwim? LOL

    Aside from my tent dress?

We'll be going away soon, so I really need to get the kid's summer clothes done - mostly pyjamas and dresses (my son's clothes still fit from last year)

I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow morning (and still procrastinating about my packing ), but I'll be taking a quilt with me to hand-quilt. When I get back I have fabric to make sewing machine covers. I just moved into dd's room as she moved out, and they now sit in front of the window. I think that will probably make them turn yellow so I want to make covers for them.

Everything else is still in list form - meaning it's on my list of things to do

You wouldn't believe this but I too can't seem to get motivated. I LOVE to sew, there was a time you couldn't get me away from my machines to eat let alone COOK dinner. Now, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I just don't have the motivation.

I am working on 6 pairs of pants that need to have the waists taken in and one pair taken in down the sides. (these are for my part time sewing business)

Personally, I also have some of the vintage type fabric with a beige background that has cowboys and horses on it that I will be making a pair of shortie pajamas for my oldest grandson. He keeps asking about them so I guess I need to make a genuine effort to get them done.

Hi - I have been busy working ang attending school. I have also been finding my zen and am refocusing my priorities. One of them is to make time to sew.

Right now I am working on a simple A line dress for my almost 3 year old's birthday party. It is very simple, but oh so cute. They grow up too fast.

I used to make and sell diapers. that really killed the joy in sewing for me. i'm learning to love it again

plus I have so many projects I want to do...and so little time, and so many fun fabrics that I can't decide then never end up making anything.

but I got all three sets of jammies cut out for my girls!

I've got to finish the hem on my pants, and the button.

then a jacket I started last year i want to finish. I got stuck on the sleeves - I get stuck and quit for a while then come back.
