Embroidery machine?
Does anyone have an embroidery machine? What kind do you have, and what do you make with it? I hope to get one someday

I actually have 2 embroidery machines. Brother-PE 180D and a Brother 750D.
I use them for lots of stuff, crafting with embroidered items, DH uses it to make shirts for his job, I make embroidered hand towels and gifts for xmas too.
I love my embroidery machines

I have one as well. It's a Janome 350e. I love it. I just recently got it and i've embroidered some kitchen towels for my mom. I'm going to make some Christmas Tree Skirts and table runners for gifts this year as well. It's a lot of fun and the possibilities are endless.

I have two: Viking Rose (can't buy new anymore, but e-bay has GREAT buys on them) and a Viking Designer 1. Both are fantastic machines. Mostly I make quilts. There are some wonderful designs out there and I tend to make a lot of baby quilts with them. I've done towels, a purse I made for myself....anything you want to do you can do it. I hope you get the chance to have one some day. I love mine!

Does anyone sell their embroidery or maybe would be willing to barter a trade? Check out my etsy site, www.tangee.etsy.com.

I would love to have one to make gifts, but I worry that it would cost me a lot of money upfront (besides the cost of the machine) with all of the embroidery thread, stabilizers, etc. Someday

Wise thinking! I must say - this is a very expensive 'hobby'. It's loads of fun, but it will eat up your fun money. If you decide to pursue it in the future look at the price of everything. Thread in particular. One spool of red, blue, green and yellow doesn't cut it - must have several! Do your research first!!

(As told by someone who did NO research and just thought 'Oh, that would be fun') LOL
