Default What's the best way to tea or coffee

stain material? I used about 3½ scoops of coffee to 6 cups water.I've 'dipped' the material several times already and it doesn't look stained enough. It is still wet,so will it darken once dry? Or will I have to 'dip' more?

    TIA!!

Make it very strong !!! Boil the grounds right in the coffee, soak the fabric, it will darken as it dries..... I get good results from very strong old coffee.....

i toss it into the dryer to set it also. I don't think you have to but it seems to keep it from running.

When I do Tie Dye I add lots of salt to the bath, it helps the fibers absorb the dye, and yes muslin is great for dyeing...Heaven is right set it in the dryer when done....

Tea also does really well. Once you have the color you want, throw it in the dryer and it will set.

You can also use onions to dye material.
