    Post Sewing Paper?

I bought myself a book that has patterns in it in templates. What kind of paper do I need to use to cut these templates out?

    Thanks in advance.

Are they actual templates or are they for paper piecing? Quilting or sewing?

For paper piecing, I use either the deli wax paper sheets (I get a huge box at costco and keep it in my sewing desk)...for templates, I buy a sheet of template paper (its like a plastic version of cardboard) and trace and cut them on that. Then I can trace around those directly onto my fabric.

Are you trying to trace them vs. cutting them out? You can use wax paper or Patternease. I use either one when tracing out different sizes for clothing patterns.

Yup, they are for sewing - apparently you have to photocopy these templates up to a certain size then cut them out in your clothing size? I am baffled (more than usual)

Is it a pattern with multiple sizes on regular paper? If so, I trace out the size I need on wax paper or Patternease.

Sounds like you have to enlarge the patterns...my dh does this for me at the computer or a copy machine could do it then you will have to trace the pattern using tissue paper or you can buy the gridded stuff(it's like a fine interfacing)
