Default What kind of irons do you all use? :)

My iron died 2 days ago.
I iron a lot and sew a lot so of course I dream of a Rownenta.
I saw the iron on Martha Stewart and she showed how to use the companies cleaning cream also.

What kind of iron do you all use?
    Anyone own a Rowenta?
    If so which one?

I'm dreaming of a Rowena Christmas hahahahaha.

I have a Rowenta-profesional,it is a terrific steam iron.It has been dropped on the floor 3 times and now it's base is duct-taped together but it still works great.
I bought a Phillips at a garage sale for $5 to take to sewing classes and it also works pretty good.

I have had 3 Rowenta Irons. Something happened to the first one. I bought another in the same price range, around $50.00, and it was not nearly as good. I bought a much more expensive one. It works but I swear not as good as that first one I had. That one was such a wrinkle buster.

All in all though they are better than other brands.

OLD... thats all I know about it. My ex-mil gave it to me a few months ago... and she got it at her bridal shower. They've been married for at least 47 years

I have a heavy Sunbeam that I bought after comparing it to the Rowenta. It was about $25 less and I'm really happy with it. It's not the run of the mill Sunbeam iron....much heavier and nicer....I think I spent about $55 on it. Had it for 3 years now and really like it.
