Need a pattern

I need a pattern for a table runner. Can any of you creative ladies help me out?

I personally don't use patterns, becuase I find them constrictive and just a pain in the butt!

If you take the measurements of your table and then get some newspaper and a straight edge, you could create your own pattern and save some moola!

Thanks! I'm going to a sewing event in March and they have a contest every year. I've never entered, each year they change the item, this year is a table runner. It's very fun to attend. It cost about $10 to get in and they have all these classes you can go to. Sewing, quilting, any needle arts you can think of, they probably have. Lots and Lots of fun!!

I'm a member of free patterns, I will check it out. I would try to make one without a pattern, but I would like it to be presentable, these ladies are very talanted.

If anyone would like more information about the sewing event let me know.
