Default Ideas for scrap fleece fabric

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas that I could make something with some scrap fleece fabric? I got this fabric on the clearance racks at walmart. I have a blue and yellow and black fleece fabrics...I'm a beginner level sewer...Machine sewer that is...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

You could make fleece pillows. My mom made some for my kids. She had about 1/2 a yard of two fabrics. Sewed them together, stuffed them, and then sewed up the opening. My kids LOVE them. They are really soft. They are almost the lenght of their beds, so they end up working almost like a bedrail.

Or, if they are smaller pieces, you could make a patch work kind of piece, then sew some other fabric for the back and make a few smaller pillows.

We also have made jammies, sweatshirts, and capes from fleece.

Oh, also, I just noticed you are a fellow NYer. We have also made winter hats and scarves. The scarves are REALLY easy as it is just cutting it to the size you want and then we fringe the edges. I think my mom found a pattern for the hats either in a book or at a store. I am sure you could find one on-line. They are super warm and my kids love them as well.

Here is a cute no sew fleece hat, that a friend of mine and I made for our kids with scraps. We did end up sewing the brim, just so the raw edge wouldn't show!

Ok, I was premature to post!

I knew I had recently been on a cute site that had tons of fleece projects! I had to go through my craft folder in my favorite's, but I found it! Tons of odd and cute projects for fleece!

I've also made headbands and mitts with scrap fleece. There's also patchwork quilts with it...tied quilts of course...or machine quilted.

You can make dog toys as well. I take some of my fleece scraps and just braid them together with big knots at the end. My dogs love them. That might make a cute little Christmas gift for a friend or family with a dog also!

I'll second, or third, the scarf and hat idea, as well as a patchwork quilt. They are all quick and super warm and snuggly!

Love the patchwork quilt idea...Well what I had originally started doing was a throw blanket...sewing my two pieces of fleece together...but once I did that I realized that I would need a back for it...because it had this big ugly seem down the middle...so then I got the idea of making pillows out of them...I'm cutting the "throw" into I think possibly 3 pillows and it's yellow and black...so I'm making "bumble bee" pillows....Black on one side..yellow on the yellow..and with more scraps..making little bumble bees to sew into the corner of them....I'll try and post pictures when I am done. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!!
