Oh, you lucky girl!!!Buttons weather their old or newer are such fun. Did I understand that your friend just gave them to you!!! What an awesome friend. Hope you find dozens of projects to enjoy them on. I resently came across a picture of a styofoam wreath that was covered in white/pearl buttons of all sizes and shapes. It was beautiful.

I haven't forgotten folks! Here are a few pics of some of the buttons I scored...

I love those shamrock buttons. And the maple leaf ones. Don't know what I'll use them for, but I'll think of something!2012 Challenges

~You do have some unique ones in there! I love the little green ones and the clear, crystal-ish one with the whites. I have one treasured button like the greens in my collection!~

Too cool! I love finding things. The last time I found something like that was when I was a kid. Have fun!

Count me in on the button lovers group. I have my grandmother's collection as well as DH's grandmother's. I have been cleaning up some of the old time canning jars with the wire bale to put them in. http://www.buttonimages.com/

Oh my! I had no idea I'd stumbled upon a whole fraternity of button collectors out there in cyberland! How neat! The button site you posted is just awesome. Some pretty cool stuff there.
