OMG! I just won a sewing machine!
I was one of the prize winners at the sewing expo here today! I can't believe it!
This was the machine I won:

Unfortunately it is not as nice as the one I already own so I will be looking to trade or sell it, but I'm still excited!Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown

Congratulations! Hope you get to trade it for something you really want or can use, It looks like a good machine.

I'd so want one, as I don't even own a single machine. What's a machine like that one worth?

Paula, that machine retails for about $300. I looked it up on the web and it has some good reviews as a basic workhorse. I'm sure it is a very nice model for someone just starting out.

CONGRATS! Winning anything is great.
That is a great little basic machine......even a little more than basic. With 8 presser feet and drop feed.
Let us know what you trade it for......or when you sell it.

UPDATE: I spoke with the manager at the store that awarded the machine (and she spoke with her district manager) and they will take it for retail value trade-in toward any other Viking machine.
So I am going over there this weekend to look at the serger/overlocks they have and pick one out. They cost a lot more, so I will have to pay the difference, but it will still be a great deal.
I'll let you know what I end up with.Use it up, Wear it out,
