Smile Sewing Club - November 2009

~What are you working on this month?
I'm finishing up a new stash of feminine articles, making hats and mending curtains. I have a big bin of unfinished projects and things to fix so I should really be trying to thin that out a bit as well.
Would anyone be interested in a sewing challenge for this month? Should the challenge be vague like 'Make a gift for someone" or themed "Make something with a harvest theme" or specific "Make a pair of wrist warmers"?
    Any ideas?~

No ideas for a sewing challenge.....will let the others post that.....my plate is pretty full.

Hope to get more sewing done this month than last....though I did get a bit done.

I'm making a table runner for Thanksgiving as a gift- will be sewn and then quilted - can that count?

Otherwise I don't know what I'm going to sew.

I am working on re-usable shopping bags. Some to sell and some to use as wrapping paper for Christmas. I cut out another 6 bags today and just need to sew them. They are a striped jewelled colored material. I really like it.

Love your totes DC!! I just remembered that I got some totes free that have advertising on them. I am going to sew covers on them for gifts too - mahalo for reminding me!!

Thanks FF, but I won't be doing the one in November as I can't find any tables to borrow but that is okay as it gives me a month to keep making things. I have sold quite a bit just off my blog so I have to keep restocking! Not a problem though as all the money is going into my son's university fund.

I am still making totes and then will move onto some cup cozies I think.
