I was just cutting out some border for a throw that I'm making. I have to head to work for a bit, but I'll be sewing the border on when I get back this afternoon. I'm also making another throw out of big squares of flannel, it should go together pretty quickly, I hope!
Happy sewing!

Was looking at my stack of fabrics for totes today and think I had best get busy and cut some out. Best part is found a lot of the fabric - some even quilted - at the thrift shops.

My sewing of late hasn't amounted to much, but I'll list it anyway. I've been making dish washing cloths out of old towel and altering pants, so nothing terribly creative.

hmm..I havent touched my machines in quite a while with all that has been going on here but I am feeling crafty. I would love to make a few draft dodgers. It is getting cold here. ...someting to think about!

Here are some towels that I did. I also embroidered these cute little reindeer. I didn't have time to make a Christmas Tree skirt this year, but I will make one for next year. I think I'll just cut out the reindeer in an oval shape and stick them on some prequilted red fabric I have. I'll have to find some way to cover the edges using rik rak or something. I think I'll put white pom poms around the outside as well.

I am attaching pictures of the "Wise Man" outfit for my 6 yr old grandson. Not very professionally done, but it might make it through the play before getting torn.

I agree with Debbie, great job!
I put my reindeer on the outside of my cube here at work! People crack up when they see them!
Have a great day!

We made 15 pocket scarfs and donated them to 2 homeless shelters.
I made a pocket scarf for each kid. My mom embroiled there first name initial on the pocket for me. I will give these to them for christmas gifts.

what did you make the pocket scarves out of?

Maybe the pocket scarves are out of fleece. I bet that would be a wonderful fabric to use. I would love to have a shawl with pockets.
