Button Question

Do you sort your buttons? By size, by color, by size *and* color? What do you store them in?

No, my attention span is way to short for that! I feel like I'm doing good if I just get them all in the same container

Can I come sort your buttons??

I LOVE organizing and sorting things.........just sorted/re-organized my spice cupboard about a month ago - three shelves.

It is relaxing to me!!

I sort mainly by color, first......then if I get a lot of the same style, in one color, they go in a separate tiny plastic bag, that is put with the other 'like color' buttons.

After all sorted by color, they are put in ziploc (not the zipper kind as the don't 'bend' very good when storing) bags. Then all these are put in a monster ziploc..........think I had to use a bread bag for them.

I want storage I can SEE into or through!! My Jesse James buttons (or other 'specialty' buttons) are all left on their cards and put in a hard plastic - see thru - container.

When I need some buttons, I grab that bag, go to the bag holding the color I want.......and search!
