Question Has anyone tried Kwik Sew patterns?

I've heard that these are excellent patterns and are good for beginners (which I am ) Has anyone tried them?

Yes Chelle, I love them! I have mostly the book type ones. They have master patterns in them that you have to trace onto another type of pattern material. I have the childrens one, sweatshirt one, ladies clothing and a lingere one.

They are the BEST!!! I used them to teach dd to sew, and she sewed a bathing suit for herself using their easy and clear instructions.

The fit is excellent. She teaches you how to fit the clothes. I remember a really cute tip that worked with making knit pants to tilt the crotch by leaving extra height at the waist and getting the tilt and length just right BEFORE making the elastic waists.

did I mention CHEAP! The book patterns teach you to sew, they have all the master patterns included and you just trace your size. Completely reuseable.

The patterns in the envelopes are multisized too. No more gain weight buy a new pattern!!! and Kerstin Martinsen the owner/designer does a lot with basic patterns so you just change a line or two to make them up to date.
