Gardening gloves from a sweatshirt, Upcycle
~I made these yesterday from an old sweatshirt:

I posted a tutorial on my blog if anyone wants to know how I did it. It's basically just trace and sew, 10 minutes start to finish.
I can get 2 more pairs out of this sweatshirt. I paid $.10 for it so that's a pretty good deal for 3 pairs of gardening gloves.

You are so talented! I wish I was better at sewing. I don't know why I have so much trouble with it.

~Oh, it's not a blog here on FV. It used to be available through my user name but that feature must have been removed. It's Lately Reconstructed ~

Thanks nuisance....might have to try this.
I prefer the leather but they are so expensive. I would have to do something with the finger tips for protection. My ground is so rocky I can go through a pair a week if not sturdy on the finger tips.
Maybe these could 'tide me over' until I found a good sale on the goatskin.
