    Default Projects for lace fabrics?

My local thrift stores have an abundance of lace fabrics, tablecloths and hankerchiefs. Does anyone have any ideas on how to use lace fabric?

I'd like to buy them if I had good ideas for projects! And I hate to see any kind of fabric go to waste!

    Thank you!

    Melissa

I buy lace and make produce/grocery tote bags with them. I also make dress up wedding veils for little girls pretend play closets. . . and I use them for photo mats, coverings for ring bearer pillows. . . .

    Smile re design

My daughter ripped her denim skirt . I pulled out a book I had on Denim Redesign. Together with cotton fabric, lace, pretty buttons and beads, we created a totally new skirt. It took me 1 hr to put together.
She loves it and has been wearing it since.
Now I am hooked on re design!

You could put lace around the edging of towels and give them as gifts with some nice soap, etc.
