Talking My frugal creation!!!! (recycling really)

    I'm so excited!!!

I was going through things, putting away clothes, when I found THOSE jeans. The one that dh thinks would look sooo good on me but I think they look hideous.

Well, it pained me to see it go to waste. So I looked long and hard at it..

Then it dawned on me! I could cut off the hideus flared leg (it even had a split from about mid calf in the back!)

So I cut the jeans into capri's! The split looks good now where it is!
All I have to do is hem these, or was thinking to just let them fray?

I had some leftover material, so I sewed it into a skirt for Ayla! I couldn't find the machine so I just stiched it by hand. I have one more button to sew on, and then hem the top edge and I'll be done

I feel so productive And I don't often feel like this

WTG Heather!!!! You creative girl you! I think my DH would go into shock if I pulled out the sewing machine (and had the tension adjusted) to actually use it! LOL!
