    Default Need opinions on the 'Sewing Genie'

    Has anyone tried this thing?

    My dh is wanting to buy a new sewing machine, specifically one that sews through thick denim...but we don't want to spend a lot on one right now, so the tv offer for the sewing genie seemed nice ~~if it works

    Save for a regular machine...there is an whats up on that in the new good housekeeping magazine...Our local news channel also does a "does it work" weekly segment....It really sounds like this is a waste of money...

    I agree, save for a good sewing machine. I think the sewing genie's are a waste of money and I would bet don't sew through through thick denim.
