    Default New sewing machine

I wasn't very frugal today. I went out and got a new sewing machine. Hancock fabrics had a sale on Singer school machines that were never sold. I got it at a good price I think. I paid $299 for what they say is a $600 machine. It is not supposed to need oiling. It has a built in serge/overlock stitch. I also got the quilt pack that comes with it, so I have a true 1/4 in seam now.

Thanks everyone. Darlene I am not sure yet. I have a couple of plans in the works. I think the very first thing will be to catch up on the quilting tutorial!
