Question Where is your sewing machine?

My "sewing room" is in my upstairs hallway. THere is an area maybe 8' by 6' that is wasted space so there I have my sewing machine, chair, book shelf for fabric and goodies and a rolling cart with drawers. I also can set my ironing board easily up there with lots of room.

    Where is your sewing machine?

Right now it's in my craft room. But my craft room will be moving to the basement shortly so Lauren can have her own room again.

Mine are in my sewing room. We have 4 bedrooms, so I just naturally took one over for my room!

In my craft room under my craft table. When i am ready to sew, i just bring it up out of it's case onto the table. If the table has things that can't be moved (ie things drying...glues, inks, paints, etc) I put it on my dining table.

Its in my sewing room, but the sewing room is so small I really don't like it there.    I'd like to move it back to our m/bedroom, but I'm determined that I don't have that type of thing in our bedroom.

I'm finding as small as the room is, its very hard to cut and do everything I want to do there.    I may design the room differently and see if dh can build me a work table in an "L" shape which will give me more cutting room.

When we lived in the city, I had a room downstairs that was HUGE and it was great for quilting/sewing or doing any crafts.

Mine is in the spare bedroom in the basement. It's really crowded down there but it's the only bit of peace and quiet I can find where my work in progress will not be disturbed.

Its on my dresser or floor in my room. I have no spare bedrooms or a basement . When I want to use it I have to drag it to the kitchen (eat in-no dining room). Oh do I long for a craft room!

Unfortunatly my sewing room is what wa intended to be the dinign room so it is a mojor traffic area in the house. I have 1 wall lined with tubs with all my fabric on wall with the sewing table with my sewing machine serger and table top ironing board then the other wall has my cutting table. Under the cutting table is 3 plastric dressers with assorted craft and scrapbooking stuff.
