Default For those doing the apron tutorial...

I don't mean to butt in Dee, but I just wanted to let everyone that is doing this know that Mccalls patterns are 99 cents until the 31st at Joanns. If anyone would like me to pick one up tomorrow while I am there and send it to you just pm me and we can work something out. Ok I am butting out now.

Thank you Angelee, and I don't think you are butting in at all. I purchased the pattern for the 99¢ myself, you don't think I was going to spend $11.95 on a pattern?

Ladies, if you have a JoAnn's or Hancock Fabrics stores near you, please go in or online and sign up for thier sales circulars. You would not believe how much you can save. The closest Hancock Fabrics to me is over 200 miles away, so I don't know thier policy and what they put on sale. Hopefully one of you can tell us.

I went to JoAnn's the other day with my circular coupons in hand and this is what I got.

    10 McCall's patterns (10 was the limit) = $9.90
    1 mini glue gun (50% off coupon) = $2.49
1 pkg mini glue sticks =$1.99
    2 FQ's (reular price of $1.29 each) =$2.58
    6 FQ's (on sale at the checkout 64¢) =$3.84
    1¼ yd. fabric (- $3 coupon) =$5.73
    1¼ yd. fabric (- $3 coupon) =$5.73

The grand total for all this including NY state 8¼% sales tax is....

    $33.98.

If I had paid full price for all of this it would have cost me
    $175.52 plus $14.48 for tax = $ 190.00!!!!

I saved $143.26!!!! And $130.60 was in patterns alone!!!

Well worth it to sign up for JoAnn's circular if you have one near by.
