Ladies, please don't go by the tutorial just yet.
I am finding that I keep going back and editing some of the posts. Mainly explainations that I have forgotten to make, things that I do automatically that I am forgetting to include in the tutorial.
I hope to have it completed by this weekend. I will post in the sewing forum when I am completely done playing with it.

I think you've done an excellent job. I've just popped in, looked at all the photos and your written lessons, and I think you've done a classy A number 1 job of this.
I like the fabrics you chose too. PLUS the fact that you've used contrasting prints to show that bias binding and the pockets.
I really like that you are teaching bias tape making in that because it's such a good looking way to finish edges like that without bulk, and boughten bias tape is plain and often of cheap material.
that looks really good.
Plus you are teaching gathers in that pocket. Great Idea! It's one of the techniques needed to fit sleeves, make ruffles and so much more.
I like what you are up to! Well done.
