The Apron Tutorial is done! Post your questions here.
Hi Ladies,
I have just completed the Apron Tutorial .
Please post any questions you have to this thread. If I need to make any changes to the tutorial, I will now make those changes in red. This way if you have already printed off a copy, you can easily see the changes, if or when any are made.
Happy Sewing!

Diana,
I have it all printed out and will pick up my fabric and pattern at Joann's tomorrow. I think you've done an excellent job with the instructions and I can't wait to get started.

I think you've done a gorgeous job, and aprons have got to be one of the most handy practical clothing saviour devices ever. Naturally invented by women, for their own use! Happy Aprons all!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to admit my ignorance but there is just no way around it. I have never ever heard of sewing tracing paper and a tracing wheel. My grandmother sewed for a living and I don't remember her ever having this. What is it? Do I get it at Joann's Fabrics and if so, what section? Is it necessary or is there something else I can do? I've got everything cut out and the pattern pieces still pinned to the fabric, maybe tonight I can sew a bit. I love my fabric, very retro, can't wait to show you.

Yes Pat you can get them at JoAnn's
Here is the tracing paper http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?C...reground=green
and here is the tracing wheel (sometimes called a dressmakers wheel) http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?C...reground=green
I found a kit with both the paper and the wheel. http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?C...reground=green
You can also mark the pattern markings with basting stitches which I explained in the tutorial. If you need help, just holler.~~ Dee ~~

Dee I tried to use your links for topstitching and rolled hem, and it came up like I was trying to edit your post.
I just wanted to double check that I understood the terms. I will look them up at About.com but I thought you might want to know.
