Default I had a great idea!

We've got a big bunch of T-shirts that no one wears and dd doesn't have any summer nighties, so.... I took an old stretched out T-shirt to experiment with, laid it out on the floor, had dd lay on top of it and traced her around the arms and to the waist. I put it on the machine and stitched my lines and tapered it to the bottom corners. It turned out so cute! Well, cute for the crappy shirt I started with anyway! I can't wait to make more! How quick and easy is that?

This one is a boy's size 6 T-shirt. I mistakenly cut the sleeves too narrow. Dd freaked when I just cut them off! She was crying, "You broked my seeves!" and " I nakey!" the whole time I was stitching the armholes up. Poor thing.
