    Default iso pillow pattern

I'm looking for a pillow pattern to sew. I want the cover to be washable. I don't want a zipper closure. I'd like the type that overlap (kinda like a sham, but square not rectangle) I'm tired and can't think of what to call it. lol Overlapped opening?

i know what you mean. I make these myself. I don't like openings in the ends. I prefer them in the back cenered. so here's what i do.

if you know what the front size it is you want...

Take two pieces of fabric, hem as desired. lay your front fabric, pattern side up. lay your two hemmed pieces centered and over laping, patterend side down evenly onto your front piece. pin in place. stitch all the way around.

Missy is right Sara, but don't forget to make the back pieces at least 3" longer each for the overlap in the back. Other wise you will be able to see the pillow you are covering if the 2 hemmed pieces just meet.
