Angry My Serger is about to hit the curb!!

    Somebody help me!

My serger keeps popping the thread....

I can't make it ½ inch down a seam & either the #2 or the #4 thread breaks...

I've eased back on the tension of all the spindles...

I'm getting ready to fling it!!!!

Any ideas other than beat it with a hammer?!

    Anyone want a broken serger?!

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your serger--I wish I could help, but I'm a serger newbie myself.

I bet Dee can help you though

MY MIL can't even see well enough to thread hers let alone adjust the tension on it. I may see if I can buy it from her because I've always wanted one. Hope you can get if figured out Deb.

WHOA NELLIE, back away from the serger!!!!

Hi Debbie LOL I think I may know that problem well from plenty of personal experience.

happens everytime I get the tricky 4rht thread improperly threaded.

Gotten so I get my book out and spend a half hour re threading by the book.

PRAY HARD that the threads stay ok, and restart.

I am a bit spatially challenged, and find rethreading stuff difficult because I don't easily see the difference between right and left, and forwards and backwards.

The threading pattern goes off a lot as consequence.

What brand is it? I have troubles with my serger but it's not the machine's fault. I have trouble threading the eye. It takes me forever to do that. I did have one of those tiny metal threaders but it got lost.

Debbie if the thread is breaking, you have to completely rethread it. Sorry!

Read your manual, every serger has a set way you have to thread it.

    Usually:
    1) Upper looper
    2) Lower looper
    3) Right needle
    4) Left needle

Like I said though, check your manual to be sure of the sequence.

    Good Luck!
