    Thumbs up Backpack I made

Here is some pics of the backpack I finally finished. The fabric is a bit wild. LOL It has a thin layer of batting and the same cloth on the side. I used covered plastic canvas for the interior bottom to help it hold shape and be more sturdy. It has the quick connection clip as well as velcro to hold it shut. I ended up putting the drawstring closure in a "pocket" rather than through the grommets. It has adjustable straps on the back and works great. I carried it Saturday on the Girl Scout trip and got lots of good compliments. It's very soft and best of all - washable.
