    Talking Picture of my award winning diaper!!

    I entered my diaper made out of jeans in the fall fair where I am . It won 3rd in the category of recycled jeans! It was up against a bunch of the purses and bags that everyone makes, and 2 quilts. the quilts 1st and 2nd but I took third!!

    Woohoo! also got some customers too.

    We entered a whole bunch of stuff - pickled beets 1st place, spiced orange slices 1st place in pickles category (there were a dozen others against it -but they were just plain ol pickles), banana bread (merit - too dry they said), chocolate chip cookies 1st place. Entered my dd in as well for pansies 1st place, sunflowers 1st place, sweet peas 1st place, and arrangement of wildflowers and grasses 2nd.

    We did great! It was fun too.

    It worked out amazingly well. I was going to put seam binding around the edges but I just used one of the stretch stitches on my sewing machine with a zigzag. then trimmed it well.

    The bit of raggedy seems to make it all the more perfect.

    I will try to get a picture of my little monster in it.

    I finally managed to get it on her. Boy was it a challenge to keep it on for a second so I could take a picture.
