Thanks for the interest ladies. The serger is now sold!

    Hi Ladies,

I have a White Speedylock model 1500 for sale. I purchased it a few years ago thinking I *had* to have a second serger and have used it for a total of about 2 hours! lol

It comes with all the tools, and a plastic cover. I will post a pic if anyone is interested.

It is a free arm 3/4 thread. I will have it threaded for you so you don't have to figure it out for yourself.

This would make a fantastic holiday gift for someone you love or for yourself!

Asking $200 plus shipping and I have to ask you to purchase insurance.

I accept funded PayPal (no cc's) or a timely money order.

Oooooh Deeed, stop tempting me. I've always sorta wanted a serger.....for what I'm not sure, I've had my sewing machine out about 3 times this whole year. I just don't know if I can justify having one. Tell me what all you do with yours...please.

    Hi Lisa,

First of all I have to tell you that this is pending sale right now. I just received a pm from someone asking for it.

What I mainly do is make clothing, especially knits. Like t-shirts, sweatshirts all children's clothing and my own for that matter. Works fantastic with fleece. I also use it when I am doing a home decor project, from making curtains and drapes, kitchen covers, bathroom accessories etc...

You name it, I pretty much use it. The only things you can't use it for are darts, buttonholes and zippers. Although I once found a site that did show you how to apply a zipper using a serger, but I forgot to bookmark it.

It is great for wovens, cottons, blends etc. Keeps them from raveling and just gives a beautiful finished look to anything you make.

If the sale falls through I'll let you know.
