Hum...Did you use a store bought pattern or something you found on-line? Who makes the pattern? I might try, too...

Where did you get the pattern from to make your first pair of panties? I hate the store boughten ones because after one wash thread that holds the elastic on to the panties come undone. Then I have to resew the elastic on each pair of panties I have ever boughten. If gotten a pattern could you share your special find with us. Thank you.

The pattern is a stretch & sew number 2046. I got it from freecycle. It is an older pattern. It has hipsters, brief and bikini sizes 3 thru 11. I used the one piece pattern . Really easy.

I've always wanted to make my own too. The store bought ones are the pits.

I've made my own too and yes they are easier than you think. Anyone trying, just take your time and do it step-by-step.

I used a Kwik Sew pattern book for lingerie, but they do have individual patterns too.~~ Dee ~~

I have seen the pretty, wide stretch lace in the bargain bins at JoAnn's and Hancock's. The trim usually costs more than the fabric. Might as welll make pretty ones. LOL!
