sewn anything lately?
I found a neat costume pattern by simplicity for civil war era girls dresses. they are really simple and quite nice. with the elastic around shoulders, sleeves and the waist. with tucks to lengthen or shorten.
I dug through my fabric stash and found some nice peach silk. made one for ecah of my girls. just about done. they are quite pretty and will make really nice easter dresses. unless I find something else to make. lol

I've been quilting whenever I get a free minute. I have almost finished the top of dgs's quilt and will be starting another quilt for another grandson once the top is finished of this one.
I've also done a pj top for dd.52 week money challenge - $41.00

I did!
I've been goofing around trying to figure out how to use this surger. I finally built up enough confidence and I made a fleece bunny! He turned out really good! I love the way that thing sews! I still need to stuff him.
Next I want to make a poncho for dd out of that furry fleece.

I'm looking at version C. I think I'd like to put a hood on it.

I'd love a serger too.
Karen I love those capes.
Christine, those dresses are so cute. I would definitely go for the bloomers and petticoats. Just too cute.52 week money challenge - $41.00
