Default I have made a major dent!

from 2 large suitcases and 2 small full of my fabric I have weeded it down to 2 large suitcases!!!!!

    yahoo!!

been doing a lot of sewing little projects and using up lots of bits and pieces.

now to conquer the bins under the bench in my kitchen and see if I can't do anything there.

Good for you. I've been trying to make a dent in my fabric for a long time without much success.

it was a big challenge as my dh GRandma passed and I got most of the fabric in her stash. of course MIL and SIL being the greedy people they are took all the good stuff - left me with the old lady polyester. but I have found that the polyester stuff makes GREAT costumes for my girls....

Sounds good! I've been taking all of my leftover yarn and making baby sweaters for a mission project my church ladies group is doing. None of it was really anything that I was going to use, and it makes great little sweaters. It sure feels good to do something with it, rather than it just cluttering up my sewing room. I want to take some of my old fabric to make stuffed animals too. I have an easy bear pattern, and we were thinking even the double knit would make cute ones to send to orphanages in Eastern Europe and Africa.
