Default stand back, I'm going in ...

    somebody cover me.

I'm about to make my first ever cushion.  I've made a middle bit with an embroidery and now I'm making the cushion.  I don't have a pattern but I looked at another cushion and I think I know how to do it.  Who am I kidding - this is total guess work!! Wish me luck.

I'll take a photo of the completed masterpiece.

Okay, it's a couple of hours later and HERE IT IS!! ::trumpets::

I usually judge the success of my sewing not just by how it looks, which is important, but also but the amount of unpicking I do.  I only had to unpick one bit.

The colour isn't true but you'll get the general idea.

yes, it's my design but it's probably not going to make it to the craft exhibition. I did this one to practise my script. The designs that will go to the exhibition are script and a pattern of some sort. Thanks everyone for your support and kind comments. It means a lot to me.
