    Talking Here is what I am going to be doing today!

    Yes Mom FINALLY!!!

    Ok, forget the housework! lol I am still doing laundry but I promised my sis some hats for her bald head and today is the day!

    So I need to clean up my sewing room a bit and then get cracking! She likes beret's so here are 2 patterns I found on the net to make for her.

    Well, I got side tracked. Been trying to get a hold of mom to find out Sandy's head measurment (she has it). Didn't want to call Sandy for it as this is supposed to be a surprise okay so maybe a shock!

    So I haven't made it upstairs yet, been doing laundry and cooking and made lots of extras so I won't have to stop and cook once I start sewing.

    Well, so far I have made 2 beret's and 1 headband. The first one took a while as I had to rip it out and make the band smaller, I hate ripping out, those little stitches are so hard for me to see. Glad I didn't use the serger 1st go round!

    After I got the 1st one where I wanted it, I took the time to make a pattern so I don't have to measure every one I make. I think I am going to make her 4 hats and 4 bands, send them out and see if she likes them before I make any more. Hey if she doesn't like them she can donate them to the chemo or radiation dept. in her hospital.
