Sewing Question of the Day 5/12...
Do any of you use your computer to assist your sewing?
I use my computer to design the layout of my quilts, and the blocks, if they are paper pieced. I can reduce and inlarge designs very easily and put blocks together in a specific pattern then change the pieces around to get different results. I can also figure out roughly what color scheme I would like to use. I can always change anything within seconds. It really fun!

I wish I had a quilting program for my p.c I would leave it!

I wish I had a quilting program for my computer too.
I do use the internet though for finding block patterns and looking up quilting history.

I don't have a special computer program just for quilting. I use an art program where I am able to make blocks and arrange them by "hand". It take a bit longer than a quit program I'm sure, but it works great for me.

I use the internet to find free patterns, otherwise - I don't use it much.

I'm the same as Denise, I use the internet to find free patterns too. Everything from quilt blocks to a cell phone case I printed yesterday..
