Colorful gingham wrap folds around sandwiches or snacks
These are amazing and I am wondering if any of you have either seen them or used them. How tough do you think they would be to make? I pack hubby's lunch everyday and I also take picnic lunches on our day trips, these look like they would come in very useful.

Wrap N Mat TM

Environmentally friendly "Baggie alternative" secures with hook and loop; wipes clean to use again. Cotton gingham; reverses to plastic. Set of three.

Wow these look great! Does anyone know of plastic that you could use that's food grade? I only ask because some plastics give off toxins. I guess you could use two pieces of cotton fabric, but things wouldn't stay fresh as long. Any ideas?

Hmmm... what about the plastics that you use to cover a table cloth? Those would have to be food-friendly, wouldn't they? If you got a thin one, and sewed it into the fabric, over a second piece of cotton, I think that would work.

Okay, I thought that would work too, but I wanted to know for sure. KWIM? Maybe I will have to search a bit more.

oil cloth would probably work too. it comes in lots of cool patterns, and has been used in kitchens and around food for years.
