Help! My sewing machine won't sew in reverse
I've tried giving it a good cleaning, and still no go.
I have a Janome 6260 QC (computerized).

I would think so Michelle, I don't have any experience with fixing a computerized machine.

Me either Michelle. I am sorry that it's giving you trouble so soon after you bought it. I would be calling the place you bought it from right away. I hope you have a warranty. I just hate it when things like this happen to someone's sewing machine! Good luck Michelle!!I would think so Michelle, I don't have any experience with fixing a computerized machine.

Well, it's the weirdest thing. It sews in reverse on one of the stitches just does it at the beginning and ending of a stitch run, but I can't use it with the regular straight stitch. So no, I haven't gotten it to work the way it is supposed to be (at least the way I *think* it's supposed to work), so I've been using the other stitch instead.
Thanks for asking

All of a sudden it won't sew in reverse. I didn't notice this as I was sewing but rather when I pressed the reverse button, and it just kept sewing forward.
Any tips? Do I need to bring her to the repair shop?

I have a Janome made Kenmore and I don't have your machine but you might want to check this: If your machine has an auto lock button and he has been pressed when you push in the reverse button your machine will only sew several stitches in place, not in reverse. If you push in the auto lock button only and not reverse button the machine sews several stitches in place then sews forward. So, you might check to see if you pushed the auto lock button.
