Wink Are any of you sewing up a storm?

How are your gifts coming out?

I keep tackling more projects, but more have come on to the plate.

I'm making DH a Santa suit (nothing fancy, using felt) as a joke to a Christmas party we are going to. We are definitely taking pictures too! I will post them here along with other projects I have finished as they go.

Some projects are just not meant to be at the moment (like DH's quilt! ), but I'm sewing him a really nice batik summer shirt that's almost finished. He picked out the fabric back in June when we went into the quilt store together. I will post that one after Christmas as DH will see the pictures if I post them before. All the other projects I can post before Christmas.

I hope all of your Christmas projects are going well!

I'm just starting to sew again.(I made a couple things in high school.) So far I have made 2 pair of p.j. bottoms with help from a friend and one pair alone. I need to make dh some for Christmas. The other two pair are for my ds's. One pair for me. I have made some rice bags, a stocking and some potholdrer hand towels. That's all. I am really enjoying sewing! Why didn't I start sooner?

well I got sidelined with being sick, demonic children (or so it seems), a cranky dh and working almost everynight.

I had many brilliant plans, but nothing so far.

I am going to make each of my girls a cape (mccalls#4703) dig through the stash

also a couple of blouses for me, and finish a nice pair of dress pants.

looking for neat little gift things this year too - last year I made those tea settings (the quilted square with a pocket for a spoon and a teabag)

Would you mind sharing the project. I like that idea.

I am going to get started in 2006 for Christmas's 2006 gifts. One thing I have decided to do is make some nice potholders. I'll post a picture as soon as I get one made. I need to get my sewing room organized first. Right now it is one big mess.
