Question How old is your sewing machine/machines

I have a treadle sewing machine that was built in 1929. It works perfectly.

My Husqvarna is 5 years old.

My Kenmore was a graduation present from my dad-- it's 27 years old and going strong.

My Nekki is about 12 years old and I hate it-- it works fine, but I'd rather have my Kenmore.

My Pfaff is 28 years old, but needs a trip to the shop. My mom has a Pfaff that is over 50 years old and still quite functional, don't think it has EVER needed a trip to the shop!

I had a Kenmore I got for granduation (1977 ) that was replaced by a Kenmore I got about 10 years ago. Both were just basic straight/zigzag machines.
Last year for my birthday, I got a new BabyLoc Quilters Choice. OMG!!! How I LOVE this machine! First, it is self threading....since I have a terrible time seeing to thread things. Second, it has other great features, like the *needle down* and it clips the thread when you are done sewing! Seriously, I have done more sewing in the last few months than I have done in years. I was a little freaked out by the price, but dh always says to buy the best tools for the job, so he thought I needed it. He was right. I enjoy sewing so much more now...I look for projects and have been using up a lot of my stash on fun things. Lately, it's been aprons

I have a treadle machine too, don't know the date on it and it needs a few parts to be operable.

My old die hard Montgomer Ward machine is still going strong at 18 years.

I also have a Brother Serger which is about 8-10 yrs. old now.

I also just got Singer in a cabinet from my dad, his friend was going to scrap it. Also when my sis passed this last year I inherited her machines, one is a Brother, another Kenmore in a cabinet and a BabyLock Serger. Don't know the ages on them but the 2 in the cabinets are at minimum 20+ years old.

my Pfaff is 24 years old and I'm sad because it stopped working. The last time it did, it cost 400$ to repair, and the guy said he didn't think it would survive the next time. I've not taken it down yet, figuring to wait a bit on that till I have money that isn't being spent on paint.

And I'll get a professional opinion.

If it is toast I am not quite sure what to do next. I can't afford a reconditioned Pfaff, even they are pricey now.

I'll think about it some more while I paint.

I have no idea, since I inherited it from my MIL.

    It's a bright pink Riccar.

My White is 2 years old, my table singer is about 20 years old, I have a boxed Singer my Grandmother bought the year my Dad was born-1942. I have two table models about 40 years old, and a sewing machine graveyard in the basement(about 6 whole).
And my husband thinks I have too many! silly
