    Default leftover flannel material

Does any on have any suggestions on how to use up some leftover flannel material. I made several pair of pj bottoms and I have (I'm guessing) about 1/2 to a yard of four different patterns.
Any ideals would be helpful. Thanks!

Cut them into squares and piece them into a wonderful (simple) soft quilt.

I assume you've already washed the material? If not, you could sew the quilt with the seams OUT, then wash it and it will be delightfully fuzzy and chic-ly raggy. KWIM?

    * Pillow cases (several pieces sewn toghether). Missy has a great example of her pillow case in this thread.

I make stuff with all the leftovers. I bring them into Childrens Hospital in Boston. They use them for the preemies in the NICU.

Once, I made a large fabric purchase for items to make and donate. tax deductible

WOW! Great ideals ladies. The pillow case looks nice (my flannel is sporty for boys and pink with butterflys for girls).

I'm not that confident in my sewing to give it to charity. I will keep that in mind as I get better.

    Thanks again for the ideals!

Ragged homespun quilt (you won't have enough fabric to make it the size these directions call for, but it'll still give you the idea) - http://www.joann.com/content/project...ged_quilt.html

Lavender eye pillows that you fill with flax seed, lavender buds and lavender essential oil. You can heat them up in the microwave for use with headaches/neckaches.
