Default Here's what I've been working on....

My girls each wanted aprons, so I had them go through my stash and pick out fabric. These only take about 2 hours to make
I'm thinking gifts for Mother's day, b-days, Christmas this year...
I wonder if I could sell these at the local farmer's market in the spring?? I have about 10 different pattern variations.....

Very cute! I am sure there will always be a market for aprons, although I do like a full length one for myself ( a bit messy when I am cooking )

I did see a while back someone was selling 1950's style ones(on line) and they were fab, although they were VERY expensive

I nearly bought one until I saw the price LOL!

They are so pretty! They must be thrilled.
I think aprons are on the way back in (never left as far as I'm concerned) and they'd sell well.
Thanks for sharing them with us, I love it when people post pics!

I wish I were talented in sewing. I took sewing classes in junior high school, but never felt I was very good at it (even though I got an A in both sewing classes). It always seemed so hard, but I had to pass because both mom AND dad were excellent sewers. In fact, dad made many of his own patterns. Could never seem to get the hang of 'this does this' and 'this goes like this'.

Maybe one of these I will pull out my mom's old, old, Singer and fiddle around. I think I'll have to have it cleaned and such since it's been packed away in the basement for a good 20 years or more.

Just asking...what price would you put on your aprons?

That's the issue...I have no idea what kind of price I would put on them. Since I have several different patterns and some are more work than others, take more fabric, etc. Also....these were out of my fabric stash, so if I had to purchase fabric.....I don't like the really awful 1.00 cotton at Walmart...but something reasonable like $3-4 would be okay I think, so I'd have to figure that in. These were actually made from some of my good quilting cotton.

Anybody have any suggestions on pricing???
