Is anyone sewing this week?
I need to make myself a new pair of pajamas, and I'm hoping to use a pair that I already have (that are falling apart) to make the pattern. They're so comfortable.
I'm also working on an infant gown and a quilt for charity.
What are you making?

I actually just decided not 2 minutes ago to sew today.
I have some Irish Chain blocks cut out for a quilt and I think I am going to work on those while watching a movie today.

~I just got up from my sewing machine to eat lunch! I've been doing repairs today. 2 shirts and one still to do and four ratty diaper liners done and 4 diapers still to do that need reinforcing. If I get all that done I may start a doll for my niece.~

I'm working on a pattern for sleepsacks for my twin GD's. They are too small for the smallest we found. This is a great way to spend my day.

Yesterday I designed and made a wristlet and finished up a tote bag.
I have some left over flannel fabric- I think I'll make a pair of pj pants for myself this week. I'm planning on using up some scrap fabric and making more wristlets- variety is the spice of life.

I went to Joann's this weekend and bought sone courderoy fabric and a pattern to make myself a shirt. They also had really soft chamois flannel on sale and I got enough to make myself a pair of pants. I hope to start cutting out the shirt tonight!

We are going to make schlep bags. My mother and sister love making these.
My daughter will be making capri pants and a shirt at her sewing class. I do not have my daughter work on her Joanne projects at home because the teacher is a perfectionist which is not a bad thing because my daughter has learned to follow through and not give up. It has really helped her in other aspects of her life. ie. schoolwork and playing board games......Who would have thought!!!!!!
My mother and sister are big quilters. They love to go to quilting shows and they take a lot of quilting classes.
Happy Sewing!!!!

This week I want to finish the apron I started, make a few canvas shopping bags, and cut out blocks for a couple of lap quilts (it's gotten rather cold!).
Oneday, I will have enough money to buy a queensized piece of wadding and will finish the African kanga quilt I've been working on.

I'm working on repair work. There was a really neat old quilt at my last clean out that was coming apart and I have been pulling it back together. Also working on household repairs like pants, shirts and a tablecloth hem.

I just bought an epattern for a prim fly fishing frog. I'm not that great of a sewer but I have big dreams, so it ought to be a challenge!
