    Default RTW Gripe

Sorry, this is sewing related, but not.

Why is it that when you buy ready to wear (RTW) clothing, and spend premium $$ for it. You STILL have to resew all the buttons? It never fails! I can maybe wear something once, and then the button stitching start to unravel. you'd think after how many years of manufacturing clothing, they'd come up with a better way!

Oh yeah, definitely. My husband got to the point where he cuts all the buttons off (unless they're jeans) and "military" sews them back on. He said that he likes to be prolific and not have worry about it later on.

I totally agree, the buttons are usually the first that need mending That's why I would must rather spend the money at the thrift store,

That makes me angry too. I am always sewing on buttons. Ever notice they have extra buttons attached to the shirt. If they would be sewed on well right away we might not need those extra buttons.
