Blue and Gray movie apron

It was either The Blue and The Gray or Gettysburg. Does anyone know how to make the apron that the black girl was wearing. It was an apron that the straps criss-crossed in the back with no ties of anykind. It was just sewn to the back. I was wanting to make this type of apron but as of yet have not been able to find a suitable pattern.

didn't see the movie, sorry... and this one is actually for a child, but I think with a little adaption, you can make it, even sew it instead of the buttons.

Lady V that is almost exactly what I am looking for. Now just to figure it out to fit a grown-up.

well, from the picture, I think a 'tree skirt' type of bottom... and the long 'rabbit ears' are the length of the top of the bib to the corner of the tree-skirt... you know you need the corners of the bottom piece to go to atleast 6 inches over your bum (unless, you are like me, and ALL bum

) Maybe someone else can figure this one out for you... sorry
