    Default Zippers

Is there a Sticky or some other thread out there that gives instructions on how to replace a zipper in a pair of jeans?

I know how do zippers for dresses and shirts but am puzzled about jeans. It seems that there would be a lot of dismantling of the area on the jeans and I just have not seen any instructions on replacing zippers in them.

Any help and instruction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

And don't forget to use a needle that will go through the jean material. I've broken many a needle that way!!

Thanks Critsy, I do have some heavyweight needles and use them on denim. I just could not figure out how to change the zipper.

Thanks for the pointer. Yeah, I broke many a needle before I realized that I needed more heavy duty ones.

No problem. I have to replace a zipper in a pair of jean shorts. I've been putting it off, but I guess I'll get to it this weekend.
