Alrighty...lost my train of thought
I was supposed to be cleaning
I got to my fabric stash instead and realised i have a pattern for aprons!!!
SO i am going to make some of those...then i did a search for patterns online and found this...
http://www.motherearthnews.com/DIY/1...Mutations.aspx
What do you think? would it be too heavy?? I am thinking i could mess with the pattern a bit and make a "pull over...smock...type" apron using two pr of Jeans vs one...What do you think?~~ Missy ~~

I like it Miss. I get hot very easily so the material would probably be too heavy for me but I think it'll work nicely. Love the pockets, good for holding all kinds of things.

I took an older pattern i had for a pull over, ties under the arm smock style apron and went ahead and did it. I made two rows of ppockets on the front and edged it with the same fabric i made the pockets with.
it's heavy but that means it'll survive me.
And i feel all good for not wasting the pants that were too torn to wear
now to make a bag from the rest of the pants.~~ Missy ~~

and a close up pic of the binding i did.
this is all stuff i had already at home. the jeans were dh's...think he'll notice??
the fabric is from my stash...i had very little left over waste using it today.
I am thrilled.

I have some fabric too that i think I will use to make regular fabric aprons. I think I will make them reversible.
I am thinking I have a deep glittery green and a tan with mauve rosebuds and green leaves print i could make em with...~~ Missy ~~

I really like your apron, cute and functional! And you won't mind wiping your hands on it or something 'cause it will wash up great just like a pair of blue jeans.

LOL. yeah..i could twirl em around my finger, just like an old west gunslinger. I need a hat.
I made two more today, but not this way. I made em reversible with regular cotton fabric. one side is solid green with a floral pocket, the other side is floral with a solid green pocket. Each one has the same green fabric but they each have different floral fabrics. Clearing out some of my stash. I have enough to make one more. I plan on sending one to my buddy Melody. Shhh she doesn't know.~~ Missy ~~
