Default Needed a "pick me up" project

I have been down in the dumps lately. So I decided to make myself something today. Finally figured out what to make when my washer destroyed my old, very comfortable (aka holey) night gown. It's not pretty, but it is functional. I made myself a night gown out of some silk-ish fabric, and some mystery fabric I have had for awhile. It is cotton, but lightweight. It's like chiffon but heavier, much heavier. but it has the same "float" of chiffon. No clue what it is, but at least the colors matched. I did the top like a half length cami and the bottom just a gathered skirt-y like thing. Simple, light, and airy.

Sounds great, and I think that's a great pick-me-up. I hope it lifted your spirits some.

Any chance we'll get to see a pic?

It looks way racier than it is, lol. You can't see thru it, which is good. LOL. and it looks like it is open in the front, just how it's hanging and how the seam hits the light...
