    Question Ideas needed --

    I wanted to turn a pair of jeans in to a long skirt.

    I wanted to 'add' some inches on the sides because they are just a little tight. Has anyone done this? Any ideas?
    I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

    If you need added room in the waist, you could add strips of extra material down the sides. If it were me, I'd use contrasting material, then use the same material to "fill in" the triangles on the front and back.
