    Question Skirt vs Jumper

I am (hopefully) getting that job. The dress code is black and white. I don't really like to wear pants, and they are so hard to find because I am short & pearish. Usually what I can find is jeans, which I can't wear anyways...

So, I am going to make some clothes. What do you think? Should I make skirts or jumpers?

I have a few black or white shirts (nicer t-shirts) and I plan on wearing a black short sleeve cardigan because I have flappy arms

I voted for skirts because I think they're more versatile. Did you check out Goodwill?

I have searched out WalMart, Kmart, the thrift stores... unfortunately, it's hard to get 'off-the-rack' in my size -- I'm going to have to make them... but, the search goes on, I will check out the thrifts again.

~Ditto! They should also be easier to make. If you do elastic waists you can make them in about an hour each.~

I agree it will be easier to make a skirt and it will be more versatile, however if you are going to do alot of bending a jumper might be more comfy.

Two skirts , one jumper. I think the skirt is a good choice but throw in a jumper for variety.

Jumpers are nice because you don't have to tuck the shirt into something and they are easier to move in.

I voted for more jumpers just because personally I don't like to wear skirts.

    Good luck on the job.

Well, I only wear skirts/dresses (no pants) and I prefer skirts. Outside of work you can always pair them with something else to make a totally different outfit. Also, I would make 2 black skirts, because you can pair them with ANYTHING.
